Member and community involvement is an invaluable aspect of VGBN’s success in achieving our vision of fostering green building in Vermont, contributing to a thriving local economy, a healthy environment, and high quality of life in all communities.

VGBN members are invited to participate and join any of the following VGBN committees:

1.) Education: Works to provide educational opportunities to the public in order to increase green building knowledge throughout Vermont.

2.) Green Schools: Works to connect with Vermont schools to promote and initiate school greening projects.

3.) Advocacy: Supports and promotes state and local policies and initiatives that encourage green building practices in Vermont.

4.) Communications: Promotes collaboration and networking among individuals and organizations that support green building practices. Also, works to provide resources for green building information through the website.
